Introduction to Rope Climbing
Learn the basics of knot tying and belay technique in this hour long intro lesson. Designed for people with little or no climbing experience, this course teaches the skills needed to climb independently at Earth Treks’ and is a great way to learn the ropes.

Peak Performance Team
Join us for this four-week pilot program, aimed at experienced climbers (1-3 years of regular climbing), who want to build a foundation for becoming better and smarter athletes. You will meet with your coach and training group virtually on Zoom once a week, discuss new concepts and how to apply them, and build your practice plan for the week.

Format: Once a week, 75 minute virtual calls. Plus take home exercises and drills to do on your own or with teammates.

Introduction to Movement
Focus on the essential movement skills necessary for efficient and smooth climbing in the gym. This class is a great follow up to Intro to Climbing and a critical step in the development of all climbers. Topics focus on weight shifting, hand and foot precision, fluid movement and effortless climbing.

A family that climbs together, laughs together! Experience the adventures of rock climbing together. This class is specifically designed for adults that are interested in getting their children involved in climbing and wish to help them with their journey. No experience is necessary.

Introduction to Bouldering
Learn movement skills necessary for the overhanging terrain common in bouldering, falling skills (yes, you need to learn to fall) and bouldering etiquette. If you are bouldering in the V Intro-V2 range or your climbing experience is limited to roped climbing thus far, this is the perfect class to jump start your bouldering experience!

Boost Your Bouldering
Learn advanced movement techniques for overhanging terrain and best fall practices to help you try hard with confidence. You’ll receive coaching and have the opportunity to project with our experienced staff to give your bouldering a boost! Ideal for those climbing V3 and up.

Introduction to Sport Lead Climbing
This course will teach the critical techniques to lead climb and lead belay in the gym. You will be given the opportunity to take and catch practice lead falls. This course is also a great first step for those with aspirations of leading outdoors.

Prerequisites: Belay safety check (top rope). While there is no strict requirement on climbing ability, most participants are able to comfortably top rope in the 5.8 range or higher.

Intro to Sport Lead ASL Information & Booking
All participants must sign the Lead Assumption of Risk document prior to their class. If participant is under 18, a parent or legal guardian signature is required.
Introduction to Sport Lead 2 (Falling and Catching)
In this 2 hour course, you’ll get the opportunity to step outside the mock scenario to further hone the lead climbing and belaying skills you learned in Intro to Sport Lead. Expect to come out of this course with a more nuanced understanding of best lead climbing practices and better prepared to pass your Lead Check.
Note: If you've recently passed your Lead checks and want more practice with instructor feedback you can sign up for this class also!

Self Rescue
This series of seminars will help prepare you to handle a variety of emergencies at the crag - offering practical solutions to real situations, involving the kind of gear you probably already carry. Every week will focus on a different set of skills.

Peak Performance Training
Peak Performance Training is an intensive 6-week training program that incorporates three core concepts critical to every climber’s success—fitness, movement and motivation. The PPT “team” gathers twice a week with ET instructors to train, refine movement technique and push each other to improve across climbing disciplines. If you’ve hit a plateau or aspire to climb a certain grade PPT is for you.
