Wharton Kilimanjaro Expedition hits the ground running

The Earth Treks team arrived in Africa late Tuesday night. After an acclimatization and organization day, the crew got down to business. On the patio of Keys Hotel, expedition guides demonstrated oxygen tanks & the hyperbaric chamber to be used for safety on Mt. Kilimanjaro. Tthe Wharton Expedition participants finished their final preparations today and begin hiking toward the 19,347 foot summit.
