Getting started with Earth Treks Team is easy.

Everyone interested in joining the Youth Climbing Team must submit an application. We will use this list of applicants to fill any spots that become available throughout the year. If and or when a spot becomes available, applicants will be invited to tryout so we can determine what program would best fit their goals.

Team Application

There are no specific performance requirements for team. Instead coaches look at a variety of factors including climbing ability, physical, mental and emotional development, coach-ability, as well as the child's interaction with current team members.

Parents are an integral part of our program and community! They are who get our athletes to and from practice, provide food, financial and moral support day in and day out - thank you! Parents are also active as volunteers at local and intramural competitions to help support our athletes and the program.

Every participant and coach is choosing to be part of a team with a common mission to develop high performing climbing athletes in a way that emphasizes fun, fosters a love of the sport, and supports each team member’s personal development and growth. The Code of Conduct spells out the manner in which we’ll achieve the team’s mission and lays out expectations for both coaches and team members. If at any time a parent, coach, or team member has a concern about the well being of a team member, we encourage them to reach out to the Youth Protection Committee.

The Team member and coaches code of conduct must be signed by parents and athletes when they start on Team. You will receive this code of conduct directly from your Head Coach.

Team dues are charged automatically on a monthly basis, year round. The first month of billing includes an added start up fee. For a breakdown of fees, team policies, and other important details for parents, please refer to the registration confirmation email.
