Kilimanjaro Expedition arrives at Baranca Camp

After an early departure from Shira Camp, the Kilimanjaro Expedition traveled southeast around Kilimanjaro’s main peak today, past the famed Breach Wall. Dan reports that the team descended the plateau into Baranca Camp feeling strong after a great hike and ascent of Lava Tower. A special congratulations to Sam Cila for completing his first ever outdoor rock climb (at the base of Kilimanjaro no less!).
