Intermediate Climbing Team

Young climbers can experience the thrill, excitement and satisfaction of climbing. This team will focus on a fun, healthy, and educational approach to climbing. Practice time will be spent on intermediate climbing techniques, strategy, and climbing. Participation in competitions will be encouraged, but not mandatory. This team is for qualified participants only; tryouts for this team will be held up to two times per year.  Once in September at the start of the new season, and once in the Spring space permitting.

Max size of participants:

• 12 per season in Columbia & Timonium
• 18 per season in Rockville

Seasons:

• Bouldering Season: Late September through February
• Sport Climbing Season: February through June

Practice Schedule:

• Columbia: Mondays from 4:30pm to 6:30pm
• Timonium:  Tuesdays from 4:30pm to 6:30pm
• Rockville: Thursdays from 4:30pm to 6:30pm
