2009 Columbia Expansion, more Lead/TR wall details

When I got to ET this morning, before even walking into the gym or getting to my desk, I had to see what Tobey and his team welded together last night. Tobey is our wall fabricator and owner of TnT Climbing Walls. You have already seen his handiwork in the screen shots of CAD files he mocked up and in the 3-D foam core model pictures that I posted yesterday. He works late, very late, into the night. It is always exciting to come to work the following morning and see what he created or how far he progressed.

2009 Columbia Expansion new TR picture

Last Thursday I posted a representation of what the new, expanded bouldering may look like. It incorporates the existing Columbia Bouldering Cave (which will also undergo renovation). Today, here is a picture of what the adjacent top rope section may look like, at least from the back side. Tomorrow I hope to post some detailed shots of these structures from the front.
