Earth Treks Climbing Team heads to Stone Summit in Atlanta this Wednesday for the 2012 Sport Climbing Series National Championships. This year we are taking 19 Athletes to represent Earth Treks in both Sport and Speed climbing categories. The event will take place over four days- Thursday the 5th through Sunday the 8th- and will determine the members of the USA Team who will be invited to compete at the World Championships this August in Singapore. The team is getting super excited, with everyone in rest mode for the next two days leading up to qualifiers on Thursday. 

Updates on the team's progress and results at Nationals will be posted over the next few days, so stay tuned!

Beginning the second week of July, all three Earth Treks facilities will transition to a new software system. The new software will be faster and more reliable, allowing us to provide a greater level of service to our members.

After the new software has gone live, we will begin implementing a few other updates including converting to a digital waiver system and adding photos of members to their accounts. As part of the transition, we'll be asking all Earth Treks customers to complete a fresh waiver form. Thankfully, with our new digital waiver system this is a quick and easy process that can be completed online. Keep an eye on your inbox over the next two weeks for more information regarding the conversion and a link to the new digital waiver.

The Lead Wall in Timonium will be closed this weekend on Saturday, June 16th and Sunday, June 17th for a lead climbing training camp. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Happily, after the seminar is over, there will be a TON of amazing new routes available for your sending pleasure! 

City Kids Wilderness Project is a non-profit organization founded on the belief that providing enriching life experiences for underserved and at-risk D.C. children can enhance their lives, the lives of their family and the greater community. Support City Kids on Thursday, June 21st during Toyota's 100 Cars for Good campaign. 

Toyota is giving 100 cars over 100 days to nonprofits that could really use a new set of wheels. Each day for 100 days, online voters will choose which of five nonprofits will take home a new set of wheels. The organization who receives the most votes at the end of the day takes home a brand new Toyota.

Congratulations to the Earth Treks Climbing Team on an amazing performance at SCS Divisional Championships this past weekend at Central Rock in Hadley, MA. Of the 30 Earth Treks Climbing Team athletes that competed this weekend, 18 have qualified to compete at the Nationals Championships in Atlanta next month. Some will be competing for difficultly, some for speed, and some for both.
